of the Project

Near the nation’s capital, in Takoma Park, Maryland, on November 29, 1944 a charter was drawn up and voted by the Columbia Union Conference of Seventh-day Adventist, that would have effects on the lives of African Americans and peoples of every hue and every geographic angle of the globe, paved the way for the establishment of the Allegheny Conference in 1945.
